Creator payouts pricing
Paying creators through Zernio costs 4% per transfer with a $0.50 minimum, added on top. The creator receives the full amount.

The fee is added on top. The creator receives 100% of what they earned.
What a payout costs
Each payment to one creator is one transfer. Zernio adds the fee to it and charges you the total.

The minimum applies below $12.50. From there the fee is a flat 4%.
On card payouts, Stripe's processing cost comes out of the 4%. You pay no separate card fee.
Tracking, review, the ledger and the creator page carry no fee. Creator accounts bill as connected accounts, like any other account.
Pay by card
Pay all payable creators, or one creator, with a single card payment. You are charged what they are owed plus the fee.
Card payouts reach creators at once. No balance is needed and nothing waits on a hold.
Each workspace starts with an instant payout limit of $2,000 per rolling 30 days. The limit counts the total charged, fees included.
A card payout over the limit answers 402 with code payment_required. Top up your balance to pay more that month, or contact support to raise the limit.
Pay from your balance
You can also fund a Zernio balance first and pay creators from it.
Top-ups are paid by card and held for 7 days before you can spend them. Bank transfer top-ups are not available yet.
Your balance is credited what Stripe delivers, after its processing fee.
Each payout from the balance pays the same fee, 4% with a $0.50 minimum, debited with the payout.
Receipts
Every card payment, a payout or a top-up, comes with a Stripe invoice. Download it from the Receipt button on the Balance page, or fetch it with GET /v1/balance/top-ups/{topupId}/receipt.
Creators download a payment statement for each payout from their campaign page.
How it behaves
- The fee is charged per transfer, so paying one creator twice costs two fees.
- A transfer Stripe refuses charges no fee. The amount returns to payable.
- A card dispute on a payout charge is debited from your balance, which can go negative. Payouts stop until it is covered.
- Only workspace owners, admins and billing admins can move money, signed in or through an API key they created. The key needs full access, and a profile-scoped key cannot read the team balance, transfers or payees either.
