# whatsapp.account.name_status_updated

Meta finished reviewing a WhatsApp display-name change on a connected number.

### When it fires

Fires only on a review outcome, forwarded from Meta's `phone_number_name_update` field. A name applied without review (`AVAILABLE_WITHOUT_REVIEW`) produces no event.

### Payload notes

Branch on `name.status` (`APPROVED`, `DECLINED`, `PENDING_REVIEW`). Meta's `REJECTED` maps to `DECLINED` and `DEFERRED` to `PENDING_REVIEW`, because the review is still open. `name.requestedName` and `name.rejectionReason` are Meta's values or null.

### Delivery

Delivery is at-least-once; dedupe on `(account.accountId, name.status, name.requestedName)`.

**Payload for `whatsapp.account.name_status_updated`:**

- **id** (required) `string`: Stable webhook event ID: the dedupe key, also sent as the X-Zernio-Event-Id header and identical on every retry and redelivery. It identifies the event only, never an account or other resource.
- **profiles**: `WebhookProfiles` - See schema definition
- **test** `boolean`: Always true when present: only a sample sent by POST /v1/webhooks/test with an event carries it. Real deliveries never do.
- **event** (required) `string`: No description - one of: whatsapp.account.name_status_updated
- **account** (required) `object`:
  - **accountId** (required) `string`: No description
  - **profileId** (required) `string`: No description
  - **platform** (required) `string`: No description - one of: whatsapp
  - **username** (required) `string`: No description
  - **displayName** `string`: No description
- **name** (required) `object`:
  - **status** (required) `string`: Normalized from Meta's `decision` (REJECTED -> DECLINED, DEFERRED -> PENDING_REVIEW; the review is still open on DEFERRED, not a rejection). - one of: APPROVED, DECLINED, PENDING_REVIEW
  - **requestedName** (required) `string, null`: The display name Meta reviewed. Null if Meta did not send one.
  - **rejectionReason** (required) `string, null`: Meta's free-form decline reason. Null on approval, or when Meta sends the literal string "NONE".
  - **displayPhoneNumber** (required) `string, null`: The phone number this review is for, as Meta reported it.
- **timestamp** (required) `string` (date-time): UTC time at which Zernio generated this event (set once when the event payload is built, before delivery is queued). Retries and redeliveries keep the original value, so it reflects the event, not the delivery attempt.
