# post.external.created

A post authored natively on the platform, outside Zernio, was detected for the first time.

### When it fires

Detected by a background sync roughly hourly, not in real time. Example: a Google Business Profile post created in the Google interface.

### Payload notes

`post.source` is always `"external"` and `post.id` is the platform-native post id.

### First sync backfill

On a freshly connected account, every existing native post fires it once. Treat it as an idempotent upsert keyed on `post.id`.

**Payload for `post.external.created`:**

- **id** (required) `string`: Stable webhook event ID: the dedupe key, also sent as the X-Zernio-Event-Id header and identical on every retry and redelivery. It identifies the event only, never an account or other resource.
- **profiles**: `WebhookProfiles` - See schema definition
- **test** `boolean`: Always true when present: only a sample sent by POST /v1/webhooks/test with an event carries it. Real deliveries never do.
- **event** (required) `string`: No description - one of: post.external.created, post.external.updated, post.external.deleted
- **post** (required): `ExternalPostWebhookPost` - See schema definition
- **account** (required) `object`:
  - **id** (required) `string`: No description
  - **accountId** `string`: Account ID (same as id); canonical field for account filtering.
  - **platform** (required) `string`: No description
  - **username** (required) `string`: No description
- **timestamp** (required) `string` (date-time): UTC time at which Zernio generated this event (set once when the event payload is built, before delivery is queued). Retries and redeliveries keep the original value, so it reflects the event, not the delivery attempt.
