# contact.updated

A contact sync added or changed a contact; `contact.id` is the Zernio contact id.

### When it fires

It fires from the daily sync of a Google Contacts or Outlook account, so up to a day after the change. It also fires when a WhatsApp coexistence address book adds or renames a contact.




**Payload for `contact.updated`:**

- **test** `boolean`: Always true when present: only a sample sent by POST /v1/webhooks/test with an event carries it. Real deliveries never do.
