Pricing is graduated: each account bills at the rate of the band it falls in. Billing prorates by the day, and accounts count across your whole team.

## What counts as a connected account

Every active connection counts once on this one ladder, and profiles never count.

- Posting accounts: an Instagram account, a Facebook Page, a YouTube channel, a TikTok account. One each.
- Ad accounts (`metaads`, `googleads`, `linkedinads`, `tiktokads`, `xads`, `pinterestads`, `openaiads`, `redditads`, `microsoftads`) count like posting accounts. A Page, its Instagram account and the Meta ad account behind them are 3.
- WhatsApp numbers count once each, on the same ladder, plus their [number fee](/pricing/phone).
- SMS and voice capability on a number never count.
- Profiles are free and unlimited on current plans. See [Profiles](/guides/profiles).

## Example

An agency runs 4 profiles, each with a Facebook Page, an Instagram account and a Meta ad account. That is 12 connected accounts.

## X (`twitter`) API usage

X charges per API call. Zernio passes each call through at X's published rate, with no markup. It applies only when an X account is connected. Full table: [docs.x.com](https://docs.x.com/x-api/getting-started/pricing).

## Limits

- Posts are unlimited, subject to the per-account [rate limits](/guides/rate-limits#posting-velocity-limits). Legacy Stripe and AppSumo plans keep the profile cap they came with.
- A card is needed before the third account or the first X account. See [payment method required](/pricing/payment-method-required).
- X spend cap: set it in the dashboard, with none until you do. At 80% you get a warning email.
- At 100% every billable X call stops until the period resets or you raise the cap. Posts are refused, and analytics, inbox sync, likes, reposts and follows pause.
- Appears on the invoice per account, itemized to the day.
