Calls (PSTN voice) come on by default on the phone numbers you buy, so a number is a full voice line as soon as it is provisioned. Inbound calls route wherever you choose: an AI voice agent, a phone, or a SIP endpoint. Outbound calls dial from your number over the API or a browser softphone. Every call, inbound and outbound, lands in one history with optional recording and transcription.
This is standalone phone (PSTN) calling, available in every country we sell numbers in. It is a different feature from WhatsApp Business Calling (voice calls placed inside a WhatsApp chat, which Meta blocks for outbound in the US, Canada, Egypt, Vietnam, and Nigeria). Both channels appear together in the unified call history.

Voice is available on the Usage plan only. Calls are metered per minute at the carrier rate for the route; optional recording adds $0.004/minute.
