# Schedule a post

Write a post in the Zernio dashboard, pick the accounts, attach a photo or video and schedule it for later.

Your assistant can schedule posts for you, and you can always do it yourself in the dashboard. This example schedules a YouTube video.

## Write and schedule a post

**Open the composer**

In the [dashboard](https://zernio.com/dashboard/posts-all), go to **Posts** and click **Create post**.

**Pick the accounts**

Under **platforms**, tick every account the post goes to. Narrow the list with **choose profiles** or the search box when you have many.

**Write it and add media**

Type the text, then click **Add media** to attach photos or a video from your computer.

**Fill in the platform's fields**

Each platform you picked adds its own section. YouTube asks for a **title** and a **privacy status**.

**Choose when it goes out**

Under **publishing**, keep **Schedule**, pick the **date & time** and check the **timezone**. Click **schedule post**.

The other publishing options: **Now** posts right away, **Queue** takes the next free slot of your posting schedule, and **Draft** saves it without a date.

## Find your scheduled posts

The post shows in **Posts** as **scheduled**. Switch between the grid, table and calendar views at the top right.

Click a post to edit or reschedule it before it goes out.
